dark hour designs.

your inquiry.
your information.

This notice explains the information handled through the dark hour designs studio website, operated by Matthew Lilly in Charlotte, North Carolina. Updated 12 October 2026.

what you share

The inquiry form collects your name, email, business name, project choice, and message. Your website address and ideal timing are optional. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or private customer information.

how it is used

Matthew uses these details to understand your project, reply to you, prepare a scope, and keep track of the conversation. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter or automated marketing sequence.

where your message goes

The form saves your inquiry in the studio’s hosted database. The studio inbox requires Matthew’s account to access it. The website and database are hosted through ChatGPT Sites and its hosting infrastructure, which process information to provide the service. Email notifications from this form are not currently connected.

technical information

The form uses a short-lived, hashed identifier derived from your network address to limit spam. Rate-limit records expire after two hours and are cleaned up when later inquiries are processed. The studio does not store your raw network address in the inquiry record. Hosting providers may separately process technical logs for operation and security. We have not added advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts to this site.

website planning guide

The planning guide uses your choices to suggest a starting scope in your browser. If you continue to the inquiry form, the link carries those non-personal choices and adds a summary to your editable message. They become part of your inquiry only when you submit it. The planning link may appear in your browser history and in hosting providers’ technical logs.

campaign links

When you open one of our labelled campaign links, the page may keep the source, campaign, content label, and landing-page path in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes. If you submit an inquiry, these labels accompany your message so Matthew can understand which introductions or posts brought inquiries. The labels are limited to our campaign names; we do not keep arbitrary link parameters or browsing history. No visit is sent to the studio by this feature unless you submit the inquiry form. Closing the tab clears this temporary browser storage.

keeping and removing information

Inquiry details are kept so Matthew can follow up and maintain the project conversation. You can ask for a correction or deletion by emailing contact@darkhourdesigns.com. If an inquiry becomes a paid project, some records may need to be retained for billing or other applicable obligations; Matthew will explain any limits when responding to a request.
